Instrument Transformers is a special transformer that is used in electrical power system (Industrial Area) for stepping down currents and voltages of the system for measuring, metering and
protection purpose. The primary winding of the transformer is connected to the high voltage
or high current circuit, and the meter or relay is connected to the secondary circuit.
